New data released from the ASPS seems to reinforce the idea that increased consumer confidence in the economy translates into more plastic surgery: cosmetic procedures in 2010 jumped to 13.1 million, an increase of five percent.

As the aging population continues to grow, so does the incidence of facelifts, as well as minimally invasive procedures such as Botox.
