Paul Wigoda, M.D. agreed with TheAmerican Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASPS) when it predicted an uptick in elective plastic surgery procedures in 2011. New data released from the ASPS seems to reinforce the idea that increased consumer confidence in the economy translates into more plastic surgery: cosmetic procedures in 2010 jumped to 13.1 million, an increase of five percent.
