Give Your Booty a Lift with the Brazilian Butt Lift

Dr. Wigoda Brazilian Butt Lift

Dr. Paul Wigoda’s Brazilian Butt Lift plastic surgery procedure is quickly becoming one of the most sought after procedures in plastic surgery! All over the world, the skinny slim look that was once coveted in women is being replaced with a full, healthy figure. Especially in South Florida, where as we shared with The Sun Sentinel earlier this year, a big rear end is a positive thing, (thanks to Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj.)

So how does a Brazilian Butt Lift work? What are the In’s and Out’s? Is the plastic surgery procedure right for you? We are going to walk you through what you can expect if you decide to add a little more junk in your trunk!

Lift Your Butt To A New Level!

“The backside is now at the front of everyone’s minds.” As Dr. Wigoda’s blog post regarding the popularity of butt lifts so accurately states! Do you want to know more about the big booty basics? Dr. Wigoda is here to explain what you can expect from this popular plastic surgery procedure!

Dr. Paul Wigoda Case Study: Before and After Brazilian Butt Lift

7 Tips on What to Expect from the Brazilian Butt Lift

  1. The butt lift enhances the size, shape, and appearance of the buttock using the patient’s own fat cells.

  2. The Brazilian Butt Lift plastic surgery procedure will lift the buttocks to a higher position, add volume, enhance its shape and firmness, and accentuate the body’s curves.

  3. It’s important to note that this procedure is NOT an implant and looks and feels incredibly more natural than an implant. While implants use to be the only way to gain a fuller and more voluminous backside, medical advances have switched to the fat transfer method. This method has been proven to be safer, and more practical.

  4. The fat is obtained through liposuction, typically of the abdomen, flanks, back, thighs, and/or upper arms. The ideal candidate has enough excess fat in these areas such that there is enough fat to enhance the buttock.

  5. You may be asked to GAIN WEIGHT before the procedure in order to have enough fat cells to transfer (that’s right, all the ice cream and pizza you want!)

  6. The Brazilian Butt Lift not only enhances the size and shape of the buttock, but reduces the excess fat in all areas that are liposuctioned (gain a butt, lose some of that stubborn thigh fat, win-win right?)

  7. The incisions made for both the liposuction and the reinjection of the fat are quite small and often hidden. Scars are usually minimal with this plastic surgery procedure.

3 Tips to Safely Lift That Butt

We already know from our 2015 What’s In What’s Out list that Brazilian Butt Lift’s are rapidly gaining popularity. With the end of the year fast approaching, maybe a Brazilian Butt Lift will be added to your 2016 list! That being said, it is important to take note of these three tips before choosing a plastic surgeon….

  1. Research. Make sure to research your plastic surgeon! Brazilian Butt Lift is popular today because surgical techniques have drastically improved which give plastic surgeons the ability to consistently achieve great results. Make sure your plastic surgeon is using tested and true techniques! You may have to pay a little more, but your
health is always worth the price.

  2. Read Testimonials and Reviews. Remember past patient’s testimonials tell the truth, believe what you read and read plenty from multiple sources and sites!

  3. Always Ask Questions. This is one of the most important points I cannot possibly stress enough. Never feel like any question is off the table! This is your body and you are in control of what happens to it! Any good surgeon will be patient and understanding and take the time to answer everything you ask.

Sun Sentinel Reports Booty Blast: Dr. Wigoda Butt’s In

DrWigoda-SunSentinelBootyBlast-Blog-Flickr-HotGossipItalia

Kim Kardashian move over. As Sir Mix A Lot sang, I like big butts and I cannot lie….baby got back.

In the latest Sun Sentinel article it’s all about the growing popularity of the booty in South Florida, and we could not agree more. South Florida has such a large influx of Latin influence and such nice weather that it’s no wonder more and more people are becoming obsessed with obtaining a voluptuous booty.

“The masses are finally seeing things the way we’ve always seen them here in Miami,” said DJ Laz, of Hollywood-based Hits 97.3 FM, who put his own spin on Meghan Trainor’s hit “All About That Bass” booty anthem. Laz salutes reality TV bombshell Kim Kardashian, whose plump rump has become a star of its own, rapping: “I like a big butt, with a pretty face, something like Kim K., girl you know my taste.”

As Dr. Wigoda stated in the article, “Women are wearing bikinis and thong bikinis all the time here, as opposed to women who live up north who don’t show their butts.” The article has stated that Dr. Wigoda has seen a decrease in butt implants and a large increase in fat transfer surgeries. This surgery gives that little extra oomph to your butt without it looking fake or overdone.

And it’s not just the people, it’s also the music. Lately, there has been such a large influx of celebrities and artists reppin their butts or love of big butts that it’s spreading like wildfire. From Kim Kardashian to Iggy Azalea, the backside is now at the front of everyone’s minds.

All over South Florida, stores are advertising and selling clothing that is specifically made for women with large butts. The stick figure skinny look is rapidly disappearing from fashion as well as popular society. Curvaceous and full-figured bodies are in ladies, so do not be afraid to flaunt what you’ve got.

Apparently, South Florida has even gone so far as to order mannequins with specially enhanced rear ends, don’t believe me? Read the full Sun Sentinel article written by Johnny Diaz here!

Dr Wigoda’s Patient Shares Experience with Sun Sentinel On Having Plastic Surgery as a Couple

Dr Wigoda in the media Sun Sentinel

Dr. Paul Wigoda, board-certified plastic surgeon in Fort Lauderdale, has couples asking “all the time” for cosmetic surgery procedures. Nowadays, couples are embarking on a new chapter of their relationship by going under the knife together – undergoing plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures together.

One of Dr. Wigoda’s patients’s, Felix Fidelibus, and his partner of 16 years shares their plastic surgery experience with the Sun Sentinel on Dr. Wigoda.

As stated in the Sun Sentinel article, “both men disliked the way the failed procedures made them look and feel,” so they decided to go in for a repair together, to support each other through the process. Though they went in at the same time for their evaluation and pre-op consultation appointments, Wigoda did their surgeries two weeks apart, so each could drive the other to and from the outpatient operation and be there during the more difficult first days of recovery. “It’s like going on vacation together, only you’re not going on vacation, you’re recuperating together,” Fidelibus said. “It was the best thing, because you’re going through the same thing together. It’s a good feeling knowing you’re taking care of each other at the same time.”

[UPDATED] All I want for Christmas is … plastic surgery from Dr. Wigoda

‘Tis the season for giving, and this holiday season men and women are stuffing their stockings with gift certificates for plastic surgery procedures and cosmetic treatments. This new trend in gift-giving makes Botox and Juvederm injections, breast implants and tummy tucks hot numbers on 2016’s holiday wish list. Therefore, we are upon a busy time not just for Old Saint Nick, but also for plastic surgeons like Fort Lauderdale-based Dr. Paul Wigoda.

Here’s a stocking full of Santa’s Checklist:

For Her

  • O-Shot: Enhance sexual satisfaction and get a rejuvenated look around the skin on the vulva (lips of the vagina)
  • Breast Augmentation: Boost your chest to look your best. Did we mention it’s painless?
  • Face Lifts: Look and feel young as another year goes by
  • Tummy Tuck: Flat and firm frame following childbirth or weight gain
  • Fillers: Wrinkle-free New Year’s Resolution

For Him

People are more willing to make large purchases on gifts during the holidays rather than a birthday or Mother’s or Father’s Day, according to doctors and gift-givers. Plastic surgery procedures are ideal during the holidays because many people have time off of work to undergo treatments and recuperate.

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery strongly suggests that people who accept cosmetic procedures as generous holiday presents are having them done for themselves and not because they were given as a gift from a loved one or friend. It pays to look and feel young and refreshed, so the holidays are perfect for spouses to rejuvenate their look and their love for one another. However, this gift shouldn’t come as a surprise out of the blue – spouses should discuss and be on the same page, so it doesn’t send a wrong message.

“The gift has to be self-motivated and not because the partner is interested,” said Dr. Paul Wigoda, a plastic surgeon in Fort Lauderdale, who contributed to a Sun Sentinel article.

So Dr. Wigoda might not see lines at midnight on Black Friday or husbands and wives scooping up treatments on Cyber Monday, but the holidays are upon us, and plastic surgery can only help impact some action under the mistletoe.

Plastic Surgeons Agree Video Chat Fuels Rush for Chin Implants

In a recent interview with the Sun Sentinel, Dr. Paul Wigoda shared his thoughts on how chin implants are gaining in popularity. The interest in chin enhancements follows a more gradual overall growth in the plastic surgery industry, which saw 13.8 million cosmetic procedures performed in 2011, 5 percent more than the year before. With the recession easing and Americans finding they have more disposal income, more are fixing their imperfections, said board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Wigoda of Fort Lauderdale.

“I would say there’s an increase in general because of the economy,” Wigoda said. Video chat is driving more than chin implants. Wigoda has seen more patients come in complaining about how their nose looks on screen and seeking rhinoplasty.

Bristol Palin sent all the gossip mill when she had her chin redone a few years ago, but she may have been heralding the start of a trend. With the rise of video chat, people are becoming more and more concerned about how they look on smartphones and iPads everywhere and are turning to chin implants to improve their profiles.

The American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS) reports that the number of chin implants has skyrocketed over the past year. About 20,680 chin implants were done in 2011. That’s a 71% increase over previous years. And it’s not just women who are sprucing up their chins. Men were equally as likely to get chin implants and the largest increase in chin surgeries were on people over 40.

Chatting on Skype and other video technologies may be fueling the change. Many people who had the surgery done report not being satisfied with their profiles when they saw themselves on screen. But increasing self-esteem isn’t the only benefit of getting chin implants. A spokesperson for the AAPS says that chin implants may also boost a person’s career. Approximately 90% of CEOs had larger than average chins when compared to the general population.

The procedure is fairly straightforward. It is done on an outpatient basis using either local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. A silicone implant is placed under the skin over the jaw bone to give the area more definition. Usually patients are able to return to their normal activities within a few days, though it usually takes about three months for full results.

Like any other surgery, the knowledge and experience of the surgeon is essential. When shopping around for South Florida plastic surgeon, make sure he or she is certified and ask for photos of their previous work.
