Dr. Wigoda’s Me Day Spa Welcomes New Staff and South Beach Spa Director Leah Fein-Roque with Social and Business Power

South Beach beauty and medical day spa welcomes new management, new med spa services and more emphasis on the customer experience as Me Day Spa’s Spa Director Leah Fein-Roque uses her social media prowess to capture new spa fans and grow existing client-base; all by way of interacting both in traditional and social media networks

Miami Beach, FL – October 20, 2009 – New South Beach Day Spa Director Leah Fein-Roque is very social when it comes to laser hair removal, Botox, fillers, microderm, smartlipo and even breast implants. Whether through Me Day Spa’s Facebook fan page or Twitter, beauty has never been more interactive.

Me Day Spa, South Beach’s premier beauty and medical day spa, announced that Leah Fein-Roque, a 20-year marketing and public relations professional, will be leading on location and online as its new spa director.

When it comes to the ever-expanding social networking universe, she means business, already proving herself by increasing sales and fanfare by 50%. Leah’s aim is to take Me Day Spa to the next level by improving client services and engaging with the South Beach spa’s customers on social media channels.

“Social media is changing how we interact with clientèle and patients at Me Day Spa,” Dr. Paul Wigoda said. “Leah’s Internet marketing expertise is a tremendous advantage in developing our online presence and getting the word out about our complete salon and med-spa services.”

Me Day Spa is also offering a number of new medical services such as laser hair removal, smartlipo, and injectibles such as Botox, Juvederm and Radiesse to their Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach offices. To accommodate these new services, the spa has added Jenelle Brown as assistant spa manager as well as new salon and spa experts.

No stranger to the beauty industry, Fein-Roque spent the last four years as the marketing director of the luxury beauty care line for Banler, Inc. There she used her talent for building relationships, as well as knowledge and expertise in search engine optimization and business branding to successfully generate Internet sales. Prior to that, she worked with Fortune 500 companies to produce and manage advertising campaigns through her ad agency, Roque Advertising.

A graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Communications, Fein-Roque is eager to interact with Me Day Spa’s clients and social media friends.

“I was completely motivated by the power of Yelper’s that are using their phones as GPS devices to locate our spa to find the services that they are needing,” Fein-Roque said, “I look forward to speaking with clients about how Me Day Spa’s premier South Beach treatments can change their life. I’m thrilled to be working for a board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul Wigoda, especially since we are the only spa on South Beach offering all of these services. Our fashion forward hair extension services and the Brazilian Keratin treatments, coupled with our injectibles, have taken the modeling and entertainment industry by storm.”

Transformations with Miami Beach Hair Extensions

Wanting long, voluminous hair is not an uncommon desire among women. Often times, after a bad haircut or wearing a short hairstyle for an extended period of time women will want a change. That is exactly what happened with Me Day Spa’s most recent Miami Beach hair extension client.

All of us have all been there before; either because of some miscommunication with a stylist or a blatant mistake, we’ve all had that horrible haircut. I’m talking about the haircut that makes you run from mirrors and hide under hats.

The client featured on Me Day Spa’s Facebook fan page has a specific type of hair, as we all do, and when she visited a stylist that wasn’t familiar with her hair, she left with a horrible haircut. The haircut technique that affected this client was a hair-cutting razor, you know, the small comb-looking scissors that stylists use to shape your hair? Well, this client’s hair did not take well to the razor. Her hair instantly broke and became damaged. This haircutting technique affected the entire left side of her hair and the stylists at Me Day Spa predicted it would take over a year for her damaged hair to replenish.

Sooo – what is the next best step? She decided to try Me Day Spa’s Miami Beach hair extensions!

The hair extensions at Me Day Spa in Miami Beach are 100 percent natural human hair. Me Day Spa uses several different methods to apply the hair extensions including, seamless, fusion (keratin tip), sew-in, and clip-in day, which are the most popular methods.

Me Day Spa also offers hair extension bonding, integration, micro-link, and removable wigs. The duration of these hair extensions will vary with each technique. The client can have clip-in extensions that last one day, up to fusion extensions, which can last for six months.

The specific method used for the client in this blog post was the seamless method, which will last for two to three months if the hair is taken care of properly. In this case, Me Day Spa’s hair extension specialist recommends coming in for extension refills and touch ups every six months to a year.
